I need a holiday

The last 2 overseas trip that I had was to Indonesia and also Gold Coast as the picture above. When I was little my parents use to take me everywhere and I became a holiday addict. When I was growing up as a teenager and whenever I was stressed, I would imagine myself going somewhere far and peaceful and now a I've grown older, I'm taking my family to places which I've been but never really manage to explore. I wish I could take a few weeks off just to enjoy some time away but I need to work to prove my worthiness and also keep myself needed in my current role now. Usually the outcome of holiday is either you come back fresh or feel much more stressed after coming back. I hope to find time to getaway soon and I'll write about my previous trip soon.

Tuesdays!

Tuesdays is always pack rather than other days. Meetings pours in my calendar like water from dusk till dawn. As always work is work but I feel lazier to leave home since wifey is full time housewife now....or for now. I wish I had my own business so that I can control my own time. Anyway, today Zaffar didn't really felt like staying in school. He was too clingy with wifey that we just decided to take home hoping a better opportunity tomorrow. One of the lesson learnt is not send kids to school when they are sleepy. Zaffar woke up rather early this morning and was yawning all the way.

Despite having back to back meeting, I had to rush to the hospital as my medication ran out. Usually SDMC is a long line and I had to wait for hours but although I was number 13 but the nurse called me to meet the doctors even before I could finish replying my first email on my BB. One of my meeting was with SAP guys from Germany. Usually these people are bunch of sales people but this guy was a real automotive guy and he really knew what he was talking about. Respect! I spend the rest of the afternoon in other bunch of emails and finally my boss is back after 2 weeks of holiday. I don't really hold any power anymore..hehe.

I manage to reach home to catch Nora Elena since the whole house is stuck on that drama. I think its almost time that the drama is reaching its peak and will be end soon because the drama is really there. Typical Malay drama. Now we're watching Glee season finale and I just got a phone call from the president of the security committee reminding of today's meeting to discuss o the recent break in here. Although my house is guarded but the area does not have parameter fencing which is rather silly. The synonym is like protecting a flog sheep from foxes with a shepherd there but without any fence. I already expressed this in the email group but let them discuss and decide. I need to rest rather than attend another meeting.

Success! Sukses!

I'm finally sitting comfortably on the sofa at home and wrapping a productive day. Zaffar survived his first day in school but had a grand finale by crying after seeing another kid cry. Unfortunate I could not pick him up but wifey did. I was interviewing a candidate to replace someone who recently resigned from the division. The vacancy is rather a hot seat and no one internally dares to takeover that position therefore we had to take someone from outside. But one of my thoughts throughout the interview is whether this guy really know what kind of shit he's getting into and how does other interviewer perceive me when they are interviewing me. Yes it's true when they say it's all about first impression, no matter how good or bad that person is, but if he or she has that charm, that person will be getting an offer soon.

My feet has been hurting he whole day, I don't know why and I hope to ask the doctor if I have time to run to the hospital tomorrow, I have back to back meetings especially on Tuesday. I also spent my afternoon with back to back discussion today as if I haven't been in the office for ages. Here's always issues to debate and problem to scream about. Luckily I can ask everyone to jump into my room as oppose to run around to meet them.

Wifey is having bad morning sickness or all day sickness and I ran to the pharmacy on the way back to buy some medication to ease the urge to vomit. Giant Shah alam have bunch of nice food and I bought popia basah and waffles. I realized the person selling the awesome tauhu bakar and sotong was no longer there. I guess he gave up after selling there as far I can remember. Life is difficult but if life gives you lemon, make lemonade!

Another step

Today marks another day where I feel that I'm getting older or mature in life. Zaffar starts school today and the first hour of it he seems to enjoy it. While waiting for m next meeting in the office, wifey and I are just hanging around and peeking through the glass to see if Zaffar is ok. I'm proud to see that he enjoys it as I've never really enjoyed school when I was growing up. I shall not say that school is not important as it contirbutes a lot of the character which we will become when we grow up. It's aother step of growing up for the children and the parents..

Here we go

I've been trying to find the time and energy to focus on writing another entry. Reading back again all the post, I'm proud to write about my present life. So much has happened, we've settled down in Bukit Jelutong in a nice and cozy house...busy with work and preparing Zaffar for his new school and kids growing up seeing Zaffar and Zabir all big and strong and waiting for the small baby to pop out next January.

Work has been hectic, but life is life, I'm always on my emails with BB keeping me attached to work at the same time keeping attached to wifey through the best technology ever which is the BBM. I was acting for my boss who went back to states for the past 2 weeks and sometimes we prefer to be where we are and to be thankful that God gave us the responsibility that id just nice for us now. But as always i enjoy having moe responsibility. Bought myself a car that I've wanted since years ago but still prefer to drive the company car since can trash it. The family car is for wifey and weekend drive.

Started reading again although I fall asleep now and then trying to finish the books. One on starting business and the other on positive thinking. Wifey is stuck with her Sophie Kinsella in between the trip to the toilet to throw up because of the bad and I mean really bad morning sickness. She's coping well though hoping it will end soon when the first trimester ends...

I pray hard for God to give me more ideas to write here. I have so much to express and so little words to ink down...
