First all Happy Deepavali to all my Hindu friends and readers and thank you for the government for making this day a public holiday thus enabling me and the family to take some time off, rest and enjoy a day without thinking about rushing to work, rushing to tumble tots or having endless meetings. Regardless how much I love working everyone deserves some time off.
So basically wifey, Zaffar and myself sets out right in the morning to our favourite breakfast and food district which is Keramat and Melawati. I guess the district have exactly that suits our craving and interest. With the connected high between Bukit Jelutong and MRR2 through PLUS highway and DUKE highway our journey took us less than 30 minutes. Our pick for this morning is Nasi Lemak and Roti Jala down in Melawati. Obviously the place was already packed by the time we arrived and after ordering all that we craved Zaffar started with his usual merengek asking for Roti canai which obviously the only food that was not available at the food stall we were at...as always. After much patience tested with endless crying and negotiation, he finally wanted to buy his favourity toy which is Thomas and friends. Even after completing the negotation, he still could not wait and urged us to leave straight away and even prohibited us to finish our drinks. Just a recommendation to everyone, the food in Melawati is fabolous, they serve roti jala, nasi lemak, soto, mee kari, mee rebus, mee soup, nasi ayam and many more.
