Sometimes it's funny how I can never anticipate my daily schedule. At times when I think i'll be free on that day, it just ends up work, calls, emails starts to pour in. The project I'm in right now, is expected to close of one of the main activities by end of today and I'm quite excited to push for the team to finish on time. The sense of achievement means so much more than just meeting a goal. Meeting a goal is merely a direction but the journey defines the satisfaction and the completeness of ones overall objective.
For the past weeks, I've been pondering on the words by Steve Jobs and a lot more words of wisdom that I've read in many articles. For me those words doesn't really reflect the true aspiration that is applicable for everyone. Malaysian are not free-spirited and we can't start a company and sell to the population of Malaysia and become rich. We have limited market for expansion, narrow mind on exploration new and innovative ideas. Bottom line is that we can't really do what we love but rather do something that we have to do to survive. It's been expected 2012 will be tough year for the economy and I'm hoping that I can be well prepared for this. Not doing the things I love is fine as long as that I have enough food to eat...
